Backup Singers Down in Front!

An "oooh" by any other backup singers might sound as sweet, but not the same.

Just ask the less visible ensemble members of the groups below. No one can accuse them of providing mere background noise for the leads.

Some vocalists understandably resented their limited roles. Yet they deserve kudos for making their interweaving harmonies sound so easy and clear. (Personally, I'd find it more gratifying to create musical layers than to sit on top of them!)
